How to copy music of your iPod

So you had your computer stolen, you split up with your partner who had all your music or you just wan't to make sure you have all your music in one place, here's how you do it....

This process only works for iPod nano's and iPods with hard drives unless you purchase special software

Step 1) Enable hidden files and folders on your PC (lots of info on google)

Step 2) Plug in iPod and navigate in to it under 'My computer'

Step 3) Hidden folder called 'iPod_control' will have appeared

Step 4) Copy this folder to a location on your PC

Step 5) Unhide this folder (right click and go to preferences)

Step 6) Add this folder in iTunes (File>add folder)

All your music will then pop up in iTunes and you can copy it on to any iPod you plug in
